Abstract

he Central Statistics Agency (BPS) is a public institution that has the duty and responsibility to provide data and information in the field of statistics. This is in accordance with the mandate of Law Number 16 of 1997 concerning Statistics and Government Regulation Number 51 of 1999 concerning Provision of Statistics. In producing and presenting statistical data, BPS always strives to pay attention to satisfaction and service quality to data users who are looking for statistical data. BPS always strives to provide better public services. Therefore, it is deemed necessary to identify the needs and level of satisfaction of data users through the Survey of Data Needs (SKD).The SKD was carried out by the BPS Statistics Directorate for Dissemination through the Statistics Referral Sub-Directorate since 2005. Since 2014, the implementation of the SKD has expanded its scope to the kabupaten / kota BPS.The results of the 2018 SKD activity are presented in the form of publications containing analysis of data user characteristics, analysis of data requirements, analysis of data quality satisfaction, and analysis of service unit performance. This analysis is complemented by the presentation in the form of the Consumer Satisfaction Index (IKK)
